First week
Choose a day and start exercising.
Don´t forget the Prehab before and the Compensation after the practice!
The basis of all yoga is the core, or if you want to sound more profesionally, deep stabilisation system of the body. A well-functioning core ensures healthy posture, a functional diaphragm and breath, and, last but not least, helps you stay balanced in those challenging yoga poses! However, even gentle core activation can work wonders in the human body, and it is undoubtedly the area where our entire yoga practice begins. So let's get started!
PREHAB
We will begin awakening the core with diaphragmatic breathing. Then, we will learn proper posture in the basic mountain pose and, most importantly, emphasize the importance of spinal elongation—your intervertebral discs will thank you! Gentle side bends and rotations will prepare the body for the following exercises.
COMPENSATION
After strengthening the core, it is important to thoroughly stretch the abdominal muscles. The best way to do this is through gentle rotations and internal release using the breath.
